Recently the extended family all gathered together to catch up with each other. It was a great learning experience for me, to appreciate people from different backgrounds and views. We might not always see eye to eye on certain matters but deep down we all know that it's done out of love and concern. I don't need a perfect family, just a family that cares and looks after their own.

Most of the time, only we would know best the circumstances that seem to drive our action. At the same time, if we could put ourselves in others' shoes, then we would also be able to relate to their comments/advice better.
